Sparkling glass trophies unveiled for the first North Worcestershire Business Awards

NWedR and NWBL have unveiled the sparking crystal glass trophies to be presented at the first North Worcestershire Business Awards.

Winners of the six categories for the awards will celebrate with a glass trophy decorated with the distinctive #NWBusAwards silver star as its crowning glory.

Organised by NWedR and NWBL, this is the first ever North Worcestershire business awards. The black-tie awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 28 November at Hogarths Stone Manor. Host for the evening will be BBC presenter Joanne Malin who is set to welcome 160 guests from across the business community in the area.

The event will recognise outstanding achievement in six categories - Best Start-up Business of the Year, sponsored by Invoco Telecom, Best Contribution to the Community sponsored by OGL Computer, Best Customer Service sponsored by Lloyds Bank, Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year sponsored by Biz Smart, Best Employer of the Year sponsored by HR Dept Worcestershire, Innovation of the Year sponsored by WINN.

Jane Doyle from NWedR said
“After months of planning and hard work, the event is now just around the corner and we are thoroughly looking forward to it. As part of the process of creating the event, we have seen outstanding examples of great businesses that are operating in North Worcestershire. As ever, we’ve been struck by the positive attitude, innovation in action, and entrepreneurial spirit that is alive and well in the area. It is clearly the natural environment for business.”

Melanie Hawkett from NWBL said
“We are looking very forward to welcoming business leaders from across Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest to our first business awards. We would like to give a special thank you to our sponsors who have made staging the event possible. These include the category sponsors and our Associate Sponsors DRPG and Worcestershire Ambassadors. To bring the event to fruition, representatives from local businesses including Opening Doors and Venues, Citizen Communication, DT Studios, Millbrook Marketing, Hogarths Stone Manor and Business & Innovation Magazine have given their time, energy and resources and we’d like to say it’s been fantastic having them on board.
